Utilizing a variety of waste management cards, players earn points by correctly disposing of waste into the appropriate bins, promoting strategic thinking and environmental awareness. "Bhangaar" transforms learning about conscious waste disposal into an exciting and educational experience for all.

Through user testing, we confirmed the game’s replayability and made final tweaks based on feedback. Adjustments included refining point systems, simplifying challenges, and clarifying rules to ensure smoother gameplay. With these changes, the game was ready for printing, ensuring an engaging and fun experience for players.

The game revolves around a deck of cards, each representing a waste category. Players take turns drawing a card and must correctly dispose of the waste by matching it to the appropriate bin or disposal method.

Correct disposal earns points, while incorrect actions result in point deductions.
Certain disposal methods, like donation or recycling, are tied to fun challenges that players must complete before proceeding. On each turn, players draw a new card.

The board features clear sections for dry, wet, and hazardous waste, as well as special zones for donation and recycling. Correct pairing earns points, while mistakes result in penalties, making the process both educational and fun.
Look out for the Pune Handmade Papers logo on the board! Land on it, and you get a chance to donate waste for extra points. It’s a rewarding way to boost your score while promoting sustainability!

The game continues until all cards are used. The player with the highest points wins, while the player with the lowest points carries the deck on their head and must walk around calling out, "Bhangaar Walee!"

I designed a social media campaign with interactive waste-sorting challenges and quizzes to promote the "Bhangaar" board game. Participants tested their waste management knowledge for a chance to win prizes, including the game itself, blending fun and education to create buzz and raise environmental awareness.
